While I am sure there are a few things you will learn from this DVD. Do yourself a favor and pass it
by. Get the Sponge DVD by Noblezada. This is a poor quality DVD and your money would be better spent
on a better item. It is cheap but trust me it is in more ways than just cost. There are much better
resources that will have you performing great sponge ball magic in no time that beat this hands
down.
Once again, I can NOT recommend this product, for a bunch of reasons. If you have read my other
reviews on the Royal Magic instructional DVDs, then feel free to not read this one cause it is
pretty much the same thing...
1)Terrible Performances: I figure if you are going to
advertise a DVD to magicians (especially to beginners) the magic should at least be enticing and
look good. This doesn't.
2)Explanations: The explanations offered for these effects are
legitimately HORRIBLE.
3)Entertainment: These DVDs are HORRIFYINGLY boring; I really, really
can't recommend these at all. Any of them in the series.
Not recommended.
At first, I was skeptical about this video, because it was by Royal Magic and was only 10 dollars.
Good thing I ended up getting it, because it is one of the most complete videos/books on sponge
balls (not that there's a lot of info on sponge balls though). It teaches you a bunch of sleights
and some nice routines. This video is a steal at 10 dollars. Should be priced MUCH more.
This is great for beginners. Yet, don't expect him to slow down, it is very fast paced, yet because
it is on DVD, you can rewind it several times. Each chapter is placed right before each trick, so
you can keep rewinding back to the beginning of the chapter (much easier than a VHS format).
