Please note that the title doesn't mean that if you are a beginner that you shouldn't buy this book,
but instead, if you are a pro you should buy this book because it WILL fool other magicians. The
thorough research that has been compiled by Juan is just astonishing. The price of the book pays
for itself. EVERYTHING that you need is in this book (i.e. although it is a book about the
memorized deck, when it mentions a pass, a cull, a glimpse, etc. it also refers to it in the
appendix where you can learn that move as well). This makes it extremely easy to read and you don't
really need to go elsewhere to try to understand what Juan is saying. It is an "all-in-one" book
and as long as you are willing to put time into memorizing the deck (luckily, with my experience
with the Roth Memory System I was able to memorize the deck within an hour - I can recall any card
AND its numerical location in the deck while being able to tell you what card comes before and after
a specific card in the deck). What is more impressive than the memorized deck are the effects! If
you spend money regularly on trick decks then you might as well buy this book. For the price of the
book, you can be performing well over 50 SOLID, AUDIENCE TESTED effects created by Juan and his
peers. Please remember that this is NOT a "new" book that came on the market nor is it a brand new
concept. Juan has been fiddling with this conecpt (along with others) since the 70's and had
published the Spanish version of the book a couple of years ago. It wasn't until recently that he
had the book translated. So, just know that what you pay for is NOTHING. BUY THIS BOOK if you're
serious about magic. I've been doing magic for 15 years and it will knock the socks off of your
spectators (laymen AND magicians alike) as long as the deck is used sparingly and strategicly. Have
fun!

Learning the "magic" behind the Mnemonica deck is actually fairly simple. The techniques proposed
are absolutely brilliant(coming from somebody who has studied learning and psychology for many
years). The bulk of the book is actually about learning real magic and not just learning this
particular stack. By and far the best technical resource I've purchased so far.

Working with any deck stack takes a lot of dedication. To realise its full potential, you have to
change your approach to card magic and work with the stack constantly.
If you're willing
to commit to it, Tamariz's Mnemonica is about as good as it gets. You can get into it from new deck
order, and it allows you to do some amazing things, like dealing any poker hand named.
The
book itself is very thorough. Tamariz takes you on a guide through the history of stacked decks,
gives helpful advice on how to memorise the stacks and provides many tricks and ideas.
It
will take a lot of hard work to get up to speed with this, but with dedication, you'll be able to
perform miracles.
I saw Tamariz live at an all-night lecture in Paris, and he blew
everyone away. I wrote a blog about the experience -

If you get the chance to see him in action, make sure you do, there's no one like him.

This book has opened my eyes.I did not realize how deadly a stacked deck could be in a magicians
hand. You will have to work hard to master the stack. The methods given by Juan are superb. But
nothing comes easy. You need to live with the deck to master it. Once you have learned it ,as Juan
says you will never forget it in your life. The effects you will do after that look like real
magic. To get the full potential of the book you need to know Juans method. Any other stacking system
will make it tough to follow the excellent stuff the book has in it. Just get the book and be
prepared to work hard.If you are a self working trick magician ,stay away.

I wouldn't recommend this book if you don't have the time or patience that the concept takes to
master. But if you do have the 5 or 6 hours that it takes, you will find yourself performing card
magic that defies belief. I performed two effects from this book at my local Magic Society, and
totally fooled pro magicians with 20 to 30 years experience. This makes the author, in my opinion,
an absolute genious. The best book I own.

I have been using Mnemonica now for many years and that was the best tool, ever in my arsenal of
card-weapons/tools.
You can do utterly Amazing things with this stack in your mind. That day you
start using this mem-deck then you start doing real-magic with a deck of cards.
This book has my
highest recommendations.

THIS BOOK IS SO GREAT THAT TAMARIZ WROTE A SONG FOR IT(the notes are on the inner-cover of the
book).
If you are looking for a book that's the best, Mnemonica is the one you are
looking for. This book is full of knowledge. Its so awsome, that you will love this book and want to
marry it. I call it The Magic-Stack Bible. It will make you addicted to it, and you will treat it
like your precious ... I bet you Juan Tamariz has worked on this book for ages and decades.
The book has every trick you are looking for. There is tricks for gambling demonstrations,
mentalism, table magic... There is tricks to open with, close with, have fun with, amaze with...
There is special ways to go to the order of the stack form an opened deck of cards that is
eye-poping.
You will love this book because there is no CONS, and so much eye-poping tricks
that you will never let anyone touch it. THIS BOOK IS NOT AN EXAMPLE BUT A WISH THAT CAME TRUE.

Juan Tamariz will take you on a journey learning every nook and cranny of this stack. This will take
time and effort, but the effects are worth it and used by many professionals such as David Blaine

I've learned the Aronson stack and I learned this one quicker (solid 2 hours) using his techniques.
They are both worthy of learning. Book is a good compliment to any other literature using a stacked
deck. Sleights and other subtleties are taught as well. Book is easy to read and the set up has so
many tricks. Learn it to fool laypeople and secretly smash fellow magicians. Get it along with with
Aronson's books and Harry Lorrayne's memory books.

Juan Tamariz, is truly the best sleight of hand artist I have ever witnessed, I had the chance to be
with him after FISM and he just floored me with every trick he had. He is creative and extremely
clever. His close up work is by far the best in the world. The Mnemonica book is a great buy. As
with everything in magic, it takes patience but as soon as you get it, you will baffle the best of
the best. Also Penguin Magic is a great store, won't let you down.
