Super smart combination of methods. There's one part that has tremendous utility and I hope Nathaniel goes into other options in a follow-up. As he mentions, there's some set up that not everyone will do, but that's fine there's still plenty to get out of this effect.

I was frustrated at first when I didn't have everything I needed to create this trick, but it's easy to get. Premeditated is advertised as 'not a beginner' trick but can absolutely be performed as one with minimal cost to the effect.

I like this (done the easy way) as much as The Grail by Mike Rose.

Best magic instruction video ever. Trick is great, stringing together many techniques for an extraordinary effect. The video is thorough covering much more than just set-up and execution. He shows you all the little things he does to help you pull off the trick smoothly. He even thinks about every way the trick can go off the rails, and explains how to handle that situation.

Highest marks really. Well worth the money.

I haven't worked on this yet, but I want to commend Nathaniel for his efforts to include credits on the origins of his routine. This crediting is too rare in this age of kiddo youtube magicians.
