The thimbles come nested, 4 larger with 4 smaller inside them. This gives the option of different
sizes, which will provide some thimbles for almost any hand size. And, maybe you would feel
comfortable with the larger on some fingers and the smaller on others. Good options.
If,
however, you want to wear a nested pair, then slide off the top one, visually, leaving one still
attached which you can hide: this doesn't seem to work too well as they get stuck often. If I put
some powder between them they seem to come apart too easily, so using them in a nested pair in a
trick isn't something I've worked out.
They look good and I'm happy to have them!

(Disclaimer, this is my first thimble set) Some of the thimbles were hard to pull apart and others
dislodge too easily. The way I use them only requires two pairs so I was able to pick out the ones
that work for me. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of options out there when it comes to thimbles
and these do well for a fairly inexpensive purchase.
