The gimmick is well made, but I agree with one of the other reviews--I just don't get the reactions
I thought I would. Once the spectators realize what they're holding, the reaction is always, "Oh,
nice switch" (meaning I fooled them by switching out the regular Sharpie for this clear pen they're
now holding).
Speaking of regular Sharpie, the picture of the product shows both the Omni
Pen and a regular Sharpie, but you don't get the regular Sharpie...or at least I didn't.
Lastly, the DVD offers several routines, but I don't use any of them. I love Craig Petty, and
support his work, but his pen routine is akin to your creepy uncle pulling a coin from behind your
ear.
Sorry to be so negative--it's just my honest review. I can see this working well for
kid shows, but this is going in my magic relic drawer (i.e., future auction items).

This is 100% brillant! The Omni pen leaves no stone un turned. The pen is top quality, the DVD is
well made. you get 3 awesome Routines (Craig Petty's is my favorite). I can't think of 1 bad thing
to say about this prop. It's simply the best prop of 2013.

When I bought this I had no idea where, when or how I'd use it. I just liked the idea that it can be
used anytime a Sharpie is in play.
If you need starting points, there are 3 different
routines included to get you rolling, all of them good. Just don't limit yourself, there are so many
ways this item can be utilized. That's what makes this extra special.
It is very well made
and is one of those items I'd never regret buying.

Here's the thing guys, are the reactions great? Honestly, I'm going to have to say that they aren't
nearly as big as I wish they were. It can be an impromptu quick trick, but in order to make it an
under 2 minute trick for restaurant magic, you have to create your own performance. The others, well
I disagree with them all honestly. They are all super long. The gimmick is terrific and I went ahead
and created my own routine in order to get it under 2 minutes and become a middle trick. It just
isn't good enough to be any of the others, but with a good setup and

This is not a review!!!!!!! Some of you have been saying that you are not getting the reactions you
want/expect or that you are not able to justify the change. You might try an old idea that has been
used for other items to change. Pull the color off/out of the pen. Make small blobs of grey and
black (maybe from crayons) and use them to illustrate the color being pulled right out of the pen.
Then when the pen is shown it is colorless/clear. Just an idea, but maybe it will start your brain
thinking in a different direction than just using a clear marker replica for an effect. Hope this
helps.

This is a fun utility prop to build your own routines aroun. The Omni Pen also comes with several
solid routines on the dvd. I found Craig Petty's routine to be a bit too frenetic and repetitive,
but there are solid moves here to add to your repertoire. The main thing is that changing a regular
Sharpie into an "invisible" version gets INCREDIBLE REACTIONS. This is more than I could have hoped
for, and I've been performing professionally for 30+ years. Build a strong, logical routine around
the Omni Pen and you'll have an effect that you'll use for years. Well done, Wizard FX!

I don't like using this as a stand-alone effect unless it's goofing around with kids. However, the
idea proposed on the dvd is to have the change take place in the spectator's hand, is one of the
strongest kickers I have for walk-around routines (i.e. they use it as the wand throughout the
trick). I have added it to various short routines and most effectively my ambitious routine. I
highly suggest picking this up on a sale as it is a carry item for me, but because of its somewhat
limited use I cannot give it a full 5 stars.
Easy to use the routines are well taught and the DVD is well shot also the sharpie is well made.
It's exactly as described. Don't know really else what to say, it's made well and there are some
interesting ideas on the DvD. Happy with the quality.
If you love to surprise your layman audience with a really powerful interlude piece or if you want
to present a kicker ending to any "please-sign-this" routine, then this one's for you! Easily
adaptable to any performance style. Good job World Magic Shop - Get it!
