Like the description says you get 5 coins and 2 shells and a mini DVD. The coins differ a bit from
some pictures shown though, they're not reddish.
To be honnest, I prefer these to my Tango
or RK coins. Despite being thinner, they weight more (15.5g) and they don't have as much as a
plastic feel to them than the others. They don't have reeded edges either, and both sides are
different. There is kind of black paint on them, but the finish is more of an applied patina,
instead of the usual super slippery color and brass paints like for the other brands.
I
was a bit disappointed by the fact that they are just a tiny bit smaller than an Ike Dollar, so I
can't mix them with some of my other props.
That being said, the coins fit their shells so
perfectly, that I'm not even worried about people seeing the 'wrong' side, or pretty much any side
at all actually. There are even coin moves I can do with the shells on, and yet, none of the turtles
ever get stuck in their armors.
12 minutes of non-verbal instructions, sometimes annoying
and overwhelming music. You are thaught 1 production, 1 vanish, 1 color change, along with 1
gimmickless and 2 gimmicked small routines using those moves. And also an other cool move done with
a ribbon. None of these are super hard, could suit beginners but yet might still be of interest for
more advanced workers.
I couldn't wait to learn a routine using 5 coins and 2 shells, but
I was surprised to find out that the instructions never use more than 4 coins and 1 shell. But I
guess you buy them for the props, and the video is just a bonus to get you started. Seriously,
buying these from Tango would cost exactly twice the price. You could choose the color, but the
quality would be less in my opinion. So it really is a steal. If they could produce other colors and
make super-expanded of these, it would be heaven, and diabolically deceptive.
Give them a
chance. Really.

The set is beautiful. The coins are a bit lighter than what I'm used to (Eisenhower dollar coins).
The designs are really intricate and exquisite, though one of them has some ink slightly out of
place. The sound they produce when clinking against each other is not the most elegant sound coins
can produce, but it's not that bad either.
I was worried they wouldn't palm very well since they
have smooth edges with no ridges on them, but they did palm just as well as my Eisenhower coins. I
love that this set comes with two shells. They fit perfectly on the coins and you can barely tell a
coin has a shell over it, even looking at the mouth of it.
The DVD that comes with it has some
very basic stuff, it's not bad, but it wasn't so useful to me. It was just something extra.
Overall, great product.

This look very good, they are well made, they are just different one from another for the black
paint between the chinese letters, but that makes them more awesome.
The s***ls are very well
made and useful.
The dvd is very complete, with many indications and easy to learn tricks.
Maybe some practice but is good.
