Description:

ROCK, PAPER, LIES. A classic Rock, Paper, Scissors game... gone mental!

The mentalist turns around while two spectators are playing rock, paper, scissors (or even an imaginary game), NO WAY he could know who won and what symbols were played, and yet using their body language he can reveal everything! Rock, Paper, Lies is a rock, paper, scissors game where you will not only be able to guess who is the winner, but also which symbol they played with and who is lying and who is telling the truth. Jay Di Biase gave a new life to a well known method creating a mind blowing, propless mentalism routine.

NO PEEKS
NO PRESHOW
NO DUAL REALITY
NO INSTANT STOOGE
COMPLETELY PROPLESS
PERFORM ANYTIME/ANYWHERE
PLUS SOME GREAT BONUS EFFECTS FROM ANTONIO CACACE

"Usually when someone says they have improved an effect they have only improved it in their mind to the detriment of the original routine or effect, in this case, this is not true. This improvement takes the liar logic problem into a whole new arena opening up doors for many more applications... well done."

Jay Di Biase's RPS is great! Based on Banachek's liar/truthteller effect, Jay has taken the basic idea and added a wonderful take with the Rock, Paper, Scissor game. When he first showed me this in Italy last month, I was knocked for a loop even though I knew the original effect! It all seems so innocent and yet you know everything! It's the perfect anytime/anyplace effect. If you need further recommendation, let me just say I have added this effect to my repertoire and I am doing it everywhere! I love it!

This is the best application and improvement of the liar/truth teller method that I have ever seen! This is propless mentalism at its best!

This is a real worker in the truest sense. You don't need anything on you, just the knowledge in your head and you're ready to perform at any time.

With all the rubbish coming out these days it's so refreshing to see something new and innovatve come along. There have been many updates to Banacheks Truthteller routine but this is the first that actually improves it some. The method is so well hidden as to seem impossible to backtrack, and therein lies the magic.

Highly recommended. I'm doing this all the time!

This is an inexpensive piece of A-prop mentalism that is quite effective and fun to do...anytime, anywhere. Very easy to learn and impossible for the lay person to backtrack. Hits 100% of the time and leave them shaking their heads. Can't ask for much more for $19 bucks. Two thumbs up and a buy recommendation.

I bought it from penguin magic.
I use the variation from RPL FB group.
Perform it for friend, and my friend immediately know it was logic puzzle.
I must say I was a disappointed.
I agree it can be play as a filler effect,it can only play lightly,or use it with other RPS effect.

If you could really read minds, it would look like this. Jay Di Biase has built a routine from a Banachek effect into an astonishing piece of mentalism. The system is easy to learn and gets very strong reactions from your spectators.

No props? No problem! Great for up close or stage!

This effect has everything a mentalist wants: fun, engaging, easy to learn & perform, impromptu and versatile for both stage and street. What more could you ask for??

This is a must-have.

I'm giving this a 4 because, for me, I had to, and will still need to, go over the video a few more times to fully comprehend the methodology. The assistant in the video was obviously a lot quicker understanding everything then I would have been. I presently use a couple of basic logic/puzzle effects that can incorporate "In the Hand" type outcomes and the added "Rock, Paper, Scissors" just makes the trick that much better. I would have preferred a written manuscript or booklet as opposed to a video however. All in all, a good effect.

This is a great effect to have in your arsenal as it's propless, easy to learn and very impressive. I performed this numerous times over the weekend at a friend's birthday party and people were very impressed. It's great value too; if you like the sound of this effect and think it's something you'd perform then don't hesitate to buy this.

Great Propless Mentalism Report this review

This is a great propless mentalism effect. It is always nice to have a few routines that can be done with absolutely no props. This will be a go-to effect for sure. It is very easy to perform and the method is well hidden.

You can also use the principle to do many other types of effects. If you get this be sure to join the Facebook group that Jay has setup for discussing the routine and sharing ideas. There are some great ones on there.

Thanks Jay for a real Winner!

This is the real reputation maker for a magician.
Totally impromptu, very fun and simple to master.

The perfect application to: "Hey mr. mentalist, c'mon, read our mind..."

Great work Jay!
