of course this isn't a trick that will fool anyone younger than a tweenager. but it looks nice and is visual and quick, so even if someone can figure out how it's done, it's still pleasant and magical. for just a little over $6 you get a surprisingly good size and quality of materials.

i thought i would get the little red seed but i did not. maybe they don't come with them or maybe they do and mine didn't ship with it. this is of little concern as anything small and red will work, i pulled off a small part of a red plastic bag.

instead of dipping the wand straight in the pot, it may help the illusion more if the wand is stirred inside the pot for a few moments before the reveal.

Gave this as a holiday gift to my daughter. Was very disappointed (as was my daughter) to find 1 of the 5 red feathers that make up the flower not glued on/connected out-of-the-box.

I just received this trick. I had given a similar version to a freind's daughter, about 5 or 6. She loved performing it, patter and all. This version is beautiful, and it's very simple to set up. This is a minor quibble, but Penguin didn't send the magnetic "seed" sphere, which is part of the performance. The box looks straight from China, and although everything is in Chinese, there is no picture of the seed on the box. It will be a nuisance getting one sent to me.
