APOLLO is a unique and realistic Finger Through Card & Restoration effect, that's ready to perform right out of the box!

You'll LOVE performing Apollo LIVE and for Social Media. It is an excellent stand alone effect but also a great follow up to any Torn and Restored tricks.

APOLLO GIMMICK INCLUDED

Here's what happens... Grab a playing card and with your finger start to push on the center of it... Push and twist until your finger bursts through the card!

After this small feat of destruction, cleanly display the ripped and frayed card impaled on your finger.

Show the card 360 degrees with absolutely NOTHING to hide!

It's actually pierced...

Remove your finger and display the destruction again briefly, then with a quick twirl of the card it instantly restores itself...

Leaving NO trace of the hole on either side of the card!

Show the card front and back with nothing extra in your hands!

(This mechanical gimmick looks like a normal playing card from your audience's perspective and only you know the secret...easily switched for an examinable duplicate card and end clean)

26 minutes of detailed instructions with Nicholas Lawrence & Worm!

Good and fun, if I’m the right lighting Report this review

This effect is very visual and the concept is amazing. The gimmick is well made. For me it will make a fun trick when I’m out at night in dark lighting. However, it is not an everyday worker. If you are looking for a cool video for social media, then this is for you. The main issue I have is that this is an extra gimmick to carry around, one that you will not perform everyday. I truly want to like the effect, but it’s limitations on when it can be performed, are just too great. With that in mind, if you want a good visual effect for a video or a specific occasion, then this is perfect and will definitely leave your spectators speechless (with the right presentation).

Love this however.... Report this review

A great affect, but I see the gimmick getting worn over time. The card itself when you poke your thumb or finger through the card, which LOOKS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, the torn parts, that happen when you push you thumb or finger through it, may fall off. I have an idea for that that I'd like to share if you DM me via Penguin. Just a couple enhancements to make it more solid. Overall however, this is FANTASTIC.

This is a super unique gimmick! I started playing around with it and I came up with a karate card presentation that I showed my friend. He was able to see the actual real tears on the card up close. When I restored it he was completely floored. The reaction was insane. I immediately did a move and he was able to fully inspect the card. I love it and its so fun to play with even by myself. Its really fooling!

Killer for Social Media, Weak for Walk Around Report this review

This trick is not the least bit examinable and there is so much heat on the card that you probably will need a fireman.

You can do a switch, but...seriously...this trick is so powerfully visual that they wont tear their eyes from it and will notice most attempts to break line of sight.

This trick is AMAZING for social media, but to perform it as walk around you would probably need to push into the next trick IMMEDIATELY or get caught out. In fact maybe hold a deck in the other hand with just your forefinger free to do the presentation. That way you can use the deck as a bit of cover. In fact that is probably the only way I would do it close up or walk around.
