The design and workings of this trick are very clever. There can be a tendency for the gimmick to
trigger and the change to happen when not desired, but careful handling should avoid this. Besides,
Tenyo put in a safeguard to help avoid this. The change is pretty much instantaneous, although I
believe it looked just a tiny bit better in the promo demo video I saw than in live performance.
However, I’m fairly sure that it looks good enough and smooth enough when doing it live. It can be
a bit noisy, when portions of the gimmick make contact with each other, but if you do what the
instructions say and flick it with your finger to make the change, the sound made by your finger
striking the case will cover up any noise made by the gimmick. I found that quickly twisting my
wrist back and forth to trigger the change, rather than flicking with my finger, gives the case a
little bit of motion that hides any hint of lack of smoothness, which is very minor anyway.. But
then there’s the slight noise to contend with. The instructions are in Japanese, but there is a QR
code that allows an English download. There is a critical item in making the gimmick work that is
breakable, and it will most definitely break, hopefully when setting the gimmick before performance,
and not during the performance itself, which I think is unlikely. Fortunately, lots of spares come
with the trick. When those run out, more can be purchased or ordered online, from Amazon, for
example. But care must be taken to purchase the right kind. Any variation can detract from the
performance, or even make it unusable.

Once again tenyo proves that items do not have to be over priced. There is a version here in the
states that cost fifty bucks...sure it is made of some kind of fake leather but it is exactly the
same Trick that this is. Thank you tenyo! This will last forever with very little maintenance. Very
well made! BUY IT.
