I really appreciate how Henry Evans thinks. His magic is clever, practical, well-thought out . His videos (including his Penguin Live lecture) are well worth getting and studying. If you have his L&L videos "Something More" (specifically Vol. 3) or his Penguin Live lecture you'll know that the gimmick which comes with his Linking Rubber Bands can be used for several other effects (in combination with Evans' mag. reel) , so this is a good deal. You get the very strong Linking Rubber Bands effect , along with a utility gimmick that can be used for other things. ---

Now, along with this review I want to give a shout out to Penguin Magic Customer Service: When the Linking Rubber Bands arrived the gimmick was broken, cracked in two. I contacted Penguin customer service and they immediately shipped me a replacement gimmick, no haggling , they didn't even ask me to return the broken gimmick , so I didn't have to schlep down to the post office to mail it to them (I had emailed them a photo of the cracked gimmick to show what it looked liked when it arrived) .

I've found that arranging for returns/exchanges/refunds with many other magic dealers is often a major hassle, so this is the kind of thing that keeps me coming back to Penguin.
