I love this decks not because i use them for forcing a card, but beacuse this way i dont have to ruin a deck, this is like having three different duplicate cards for many many things, like signed cards, tear up a card, restorations etc...

The only thing i can complain about its that there's only one red suit in this forcing deck, i would like two reds one black.

9.5/10

Three identical packs! Report this review

I gave two stars merely to reflect that the cards are good Bicycle stock and that one of the four I received was different to the others.

I ordered four packs not as forcing decks per se but as spares to replace signed forced cards and I had hoped that one or two of the 12 suits might have matched Mirage decks that I have instead, I got three identical decks: 10C, 6D & 2S. I actually calculated that the odds were in favour of getting two matches from 12 indices but got none from 6 indices. As another reviewer suggested, I would have been better off buying three one way decks so that I could have chosen the indices.

I accepted that there would be some random element to this but I really did think that Penguin would have had the sense to check that there were not three identical packs - the packs are not sealed!

Well, I got lemons so I suppose I will just have to conjure up some lemonade.

Should have bought three one-way decks Report this review

I should have listened to my inner voice telling me to buy three one-way decks so that I could control the card choices. This is the second time I’ve gotten a force deck made by Murphy’s where the force card (one of the force cards in this case) was the Ace of Spades. The other instance was with an Omega deck. I don’t think I could possibly be alone in thinking that the Ace of Spades is not an ideal force card.

Will do the effect I wanted it for although only spot cards would have liked a face card in the mix.

All The Same Suit Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on February 22nd, 2023
I bought 2 red and 2 blue decks to use for Tossed Out Deck- unfortunately one deck was sequential hearts- 6, 7, 8 of hearts- which makes it unusable for that effect. 2 other decks also contained all the same suit, which also makes them not ideal for TOD. Not a big deal, considering the price, but only 1 out of 4 decks I bought is really a practical 3 way force deck.

As expected Report this review

Wanted this deck for some other uses in routines and it was as expected when I got it with the red rider backs. One was a red picture card and other two were different black number cards. But it may differ from person to person.

Good Utility Deck Report this review

Forcing decks are such as clever tool. The three way lets you easily control from which point you force the card. I also use these decks for signed card effects. That way I don't destroy decks.
