I've made my very discreet and examinable. Just "push" gimmick into doll & paint it. You'll be golden.

I love the voodoo doll and have purchased these from the manufacturer in the past and they worked fine. This one has the gimmick placed in the wrong position and facing the wrong way, and it cannot be used like this.

Yes, it can be fixed, but the question is why it went out like this...

There should be some sort of quality control. It should not be up to the purchaser to fix manufacturing errors before he or she can use an item.

Other than the doll not being workable out of the envelope, it looks nice.

I bought two of these and neither work as well as "The Original".
Not well constructed and the pin shifts.
Balance is off.
Hunt for another type.

i bought this effect a few years ago in thailand,the doll was well made and effect brilliant

well just decided because of the affect to get another one..

doll to bulky and gimmick half the size of titanic.

For the money, it's great. But considering what you have to do to make it work, and how awkward that can look if you don't get it right the first time, or if you go to far (ouch), it's okay.

Easy to use and kicks the crxxx out of everybody

I use the doll to start with a heart stop effect, with a needle into the doll... I have burned the ends a little to "weather" the doll and I tell about getting it from a voodoo witch while in Brasil. After the heart stop, they remove the needle and I start to pay really close attention to the doll. When it stands up it kills. The heart stop and PK is a great one - two punch. Great effect if given the performance respect it deserves. Love this little guy.

..I am going to trim my gimmick down a bit. I think it's too large to allow the doll to stand effectively. You really do not need this much of a gimmick to make it work. Other than that, love it as a fun, impromptu bar or party trick...after a brief discussion about voodoo, of course.

This is one of those close up tricks that is not a card trick, but still very clean and very cool. The only bad thing is that the doll can not be excamined, but they dont want to touch this doll when they have seen it stand up on it's own!

A Great little trick looks so cool as the doll rises in you open hand. Would have gave this five stars but need to tweak the gimmick a little. This one is old simple but it's a sleeper.
