I love this trick and the reactions to it! It's so visual and surprising, and since you are free to move the queen around as you will in the beginning, nobody ever questioned the other cards so far. I will constantly use it, thank you, Dan!

This is one of the few gimmicked tricks that I use ALL the time. It gets great reactions, and it's very relatable to the standard cutting a woman in half trick for a MUCH lower price! Buy it now!

This is something I like to have in my card box at all times. The ability to perform a large scale classic at my fingertips is very powerful. I can not recommend this enough. $10 is a steal for Harlans work.

This is such a great trick because you automatically have patter. Your patter is explaining how the stage trick goes you are just doing the effect with a little bit smaller objects, which I think makes the trick so much better, because it is done right in front of their faces, and everything looks natural, there is no reason why they should want to see the cards.

Gimmick is very easy to make and very practical you can keep this one in your wallet or have the effect set-up in your deck to make it even seem more fair.

this is a cleaver little card illusion, which is sometimes a rare find in modern card magic. It will get looks of astonishment from the spectators, and once you build the gimmick it will last a while. tHe trick loses a star because dan harlan acts quite unprofessional during the explanation.

The effect is very visual with quick set up and recovery, and it's an easy carry for walkaround work. You're left pretty clean at the end. There are no complicated moves, and angles aren't much of a concern.

It's a quick effect and probably not a stunner, more likely to produce an eyebrow raise / head nod than a scream of delight. It's easy to perform, but you do have to work on positioning of the cards while working in the air, which will take some effort and repetition as there isn't much room for error. Also, you aren't technically complete clean at the end. A handsy audience member could cause trouble, so you'll either need to be confident in your audience management skills or do a bit of extra work on your own to come up with a way to get totally clean.

Also, be aware that you'll need to do a one-time arts and crafts project.

All in all, I would give this one 4 1/2 stars if that were an option, but Dan gets the benefit of rounding up every time, so it's a 5. I'll use it for sure. No regrets.

What a fun plot for a trick you can have as an everyday packet carry that allows you to “duplicate” the stage illusion of sawing the women in half! Sure the video is old and spotty, but that doesn’t take away from the idea and method. The video isn’t for the spectators anyway. Once you have the moves down, Killer trick!

This is absolutely amazing

I realize that I am coming to this trick somewhat late. Full disclosure, I am a fan of Dan Harlan. This trick, however, leaves something wanting. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad trick. The visual is pretty interesting and I get decent reactions with it. It's just that for me, the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

This is another great effect by a great magician. I also think it is the worst quality video that I have gotten from Penguin. I'm used to the videos on the site sounding like they went through a Leslie speaker, but hope for something better from the downloaded version.
