Latest review that I saw was 2011, then 2008, then 2003 or thereabout. What the heck people? We need a review more current. Thus, here it is!
I realize that D'Lites have been around for a while and some similar products are on the market (e.g. Spirit Lights)that may have advantages/disadvantages when compared. However, do not allow yourselves to forget about these little gems. These "lites" play huge whether in an organized setting or impromptu right out of the pocket. Red seems to be the most popular color, but they come in an array of others e.g. blue, green, white, alternating etc. The colored ones play better indoors or in the evening outdoors. The sun can kill the effect...However, the white ones (I'm not sure if PM has em...but I'm sure that they can get them for you)...Anyway, the white ones are very bright and will work outdoors.
Your routine can be a quick, hit em hard while in line heading for an event or something more structured in front of a group. Use your imagination...the possibilities are endless.
I have most colors, but the white ones are my "go to" pair and are always within reach in my pocket. Oh, very important, to get the most bang for your presentation, you MUST have 2ea of the lights in the same color. Simply, one for each hand...
FYI, these lights last for a long time even with a lot of use, but you can't replace the batteries without some crazy effort. If there is an easy way, I've not found it. But, don't be disappointed. They will last plenty long enough for you to see the value from all the great reactions that you'll get and you won't mind ordering another set.
In closing, guess I should just shut the heck up...for now. Order a pair of them...you can't go wrong!

A wonderful add-in for performers with adult (bars, etc.) audiences: insert "light" into mouth, pull "out" from seat of pants. Hilarious.

This gimick has great potential, from parlour and stage to impromptu in an elevator with kids you don't know. The gimicks are very well made, but it would be nice to have some way of testing the battery strength or some warning mechanism for low battery (thus 4 1/2 rather than 5). Batteries are still going strong after many performances but would hate to have one go out during a performance. DVD is very clear.

i bought this set and i think it is probably one of the best visual effects created. There are 1000's of different effects you can do with one or two d'lites. the DVD teaches some of the most common and effective ways to make the d'lite appear, things to do with one d'lite and things to do with 2 d'lites. It doesn't matter if your a begginer at magic or if you've been doing it for 5-10 years, these are great do att into your routine. Some people say that lighting plays a factor, but only if ur very picky. definatley add to cart NOW

these d'lites are so much fun and energizing for every one only one bad thing it has to be sorta dark for you to use them but other wise i think one of the most clever tools.

Its the best thing ive ever bought i didnt get it through penguimagic but man the guy who invented this sould get a reward.the gimmick is this best part never got caught ever its the best thing ever trust me this thing is wayyyyyyyy worth it it doent allways have to be on stage or in front of a huge crowd it can be doen with any one and they would never figure it out YOU HAVE TO GET THIS NOW

Not really sure what others are complaining about, but I think the video is first rate. It is really well done and quite instructive.

I am very happy I didn't listen to the whiners and went ahead and purchased the video with my D'Lites (the combo set), as it has saved me a lot of time and stirred the imagination.

In five minutes of opening the package you will be able to do it! With a bit of practice you can do a routine. There is NO SKILL INVOLVED AT ALL!!!
