When doing strolling Magic, I always carry at least one of these on me. I see a group of kids and go
into a quick routine. Adults can quickly figure out what's gong on but they enjoy seeing the kids go
crazy with them.

I got one of these waaaay back when they first hit the market but I know it was a loooong time ago
when it was a new effect. I can't recall the year they first hit but I had to have one. It's great
effect but I know in the area where I live, I've seen cheerleader routines from High school and
grade schools include these in their dance act. Also if I'm not mistaken there was a similar
knockoff under a different name in dept. stores. I could be wrong but seems like I saw them.
Now that doesn't mean everyone knows the secret, I'm just saying it just seems too common these
days to pull off even tho the effect is great. So if you go in knowing that people may know the
secret but use it to go into another effect I guess it wouldn't matter.

Combine them with spongeballs. An idea taken directly from Chris Randall's magic castle lecture
(available on penguin! super cheap dvd, ton of ideas)
Idea is this: pick up spongeball,
squeeze it, d lights come on. Let go, spongeballs released. You "made the Spongeball into a
firefly!!!" Imagine doing it with 2 and combining and syncing movements...you're welcome.
To all that say d lites aren't magical, y'all crazy n' hatin'. D lites ARE magical.

I really like this , The kids really like this magic , highly recommended .
I just received these about a week ago and they work great. I used these while looking in a mirror
and It fooled me. Looked like I was really holding a Red Light and moving it around.
I
would also like to add that the Penguins Customers Service was great, and shipment came fast.
Reading some of the reviews that slam this little beauty because it is not magical. It is not ment
to be a deep mystery - trying to perform as such you are only kidding yourself. I use this as a
walk around opener - I notice someone wearing something Red - reach out and pluck this red glowing
object from them then snort it - it get''s a big laugh and it entertains.
The device can
also be used as a coding device for a two person mental routines - there are allot of covert uses.
I use this throughout my shows, pulling the red magic pill from everywhere. I take them to work and
always get dropped jaws.
Get it, you will use it.
Hi! This is your official PenguinMagic reviewer, B_Magic.
This is a case of something that
used to be in my Arsenal, but has now been long retired and something I actually recommend against
to some degree.
The reason is because the effect, while cool, isn't very magical. I'm very
good with D'lites and can do some pretty cool effect with them. However, in the end, that's all it
is, a cool something to look at, not really a magic effect. After awhile, I only used D'Lites as a
way to capture people's attention. Now, I do other things for that.
Problem is people have
seen these a lot in raves and such, and so for the most part, they are not looking at it from a
magical frame of mind. They might be entertained, yes, but that entertainment is the same as a
juggler or fire-eater, not really a magical amazement.
If you are just looking for
something fun to do and to get people's eyes on you, but all means get them. But if you are looking
for people to be amazed and captivated magically, this is not the item to get.

D'Lites are perfectly delightful. If you like to entertain children, you should not be without
D'ites. Children are mezmorized by them. You can do 5 seconds or 5 minutes. They are fun.
this is a great trick. it was the first one i ever bought and i love it even two years later.
the only problem is people want to see your hands after....
