The idea is excellent. The trick works 99.9% of the time and is guranteed to get some very excited
spectators. Their faces are literally stuck in WOW for ages after the trick.
Like many
have said the trick is great because no routine is neccessary. Somthing which i see as a Great
advantage. I hate routines personally, i just like to go with the flow.
However there is
a But..
The riffle shuffle is needed in order to make this trick work to its advantage and
if you arent that great at that type of shuffle because of either you being a magician thats mainly
coins or a total beginner or whatever, this trick is not recommended for you. In order to pull this
trick off you need to do some excellent riffle shuffles but by excellent i mean like make it seem
you do them all the time. You dont wanna really show off the riffle shuffle too much.
If
you're good at the Riffle. Its a great trick. I've used it in clubs, bars, restuarants and
college. A Truely remarkable trick. I recommend it for magicians expirienced in the hnadling of
cards.

Ok, don't get me wrong, this is a good deck of card and the effects are not that difficult to
produce but they are quite limmited. I'm keeping this one at home to do some house tricks when my
guests are asking for more Magic. Buy this deck of card if you want some new effects but be sure to
get a svengali, stripper and photography deck before, they are way better. And no!, he's not
teaching the manipulation he did in the demo.

The shuffle is a major part of this trick, and so when you get the spectator to shuffle it must be
as you state.
At the end of this demo you see a lot of sleight of hand - but don't be
fooled (like I was!!) and buy this for that! he shows none of this.
Also some of the moves
in here required to perform the effect are not taught very well. He shows you what you should do,
but takes about 5-10 seconds showing you, but not actually telling you. Common phrases include
"it's just a knack" and "you'll get the hang of it" along with the incredibly annoying "I'm a giver"
which appears in every other sentence.
To SUMMARISE the effect works great once, but the
revelations can be difficult. If you are really committed to learning these effects, also be
prepared to buy other material, as he gives reference as where to buy the books you need to learn
the stuff on the DVD!!!

I;ve used the Cardiologist deck since it first came out and FRY people with it.
You can
fully shuffle the deck. THEY CAN fully shuffle the deck. Yet, you find the mates of every card, in
very magical ways.
Once you know the secret, you can make your own Cardiologist deck in ANY
brand you'd like.
Do this as an opener and they will believe you can do anything!

First off, I cant believe anybody wrote bad reviews for this deck. It is so much fun. The one thing
that's not that good is the fact that it does not work every time. If you are going to make
something that is already out there, you might as well make it foolproof. Other than that I say
that you should get it.

I've been performing this effect for over 8 years. I don't perform it in my usual routine but rather
as a show off piece after my main performance. The trick itself is easy to perform, but you will
have to practice your revelation techniques.
I see some not so good reviews on this, but I find this totally excellent! First, you don't have to
be great with a riffle shuffle. Come-on! Anyone can do a riffle shuffle. You can even just push
the two ends together without doing the fan finish. Also, he teaches some really cool ways to
reveal cards. I personally don't like the idea of showing that all the cards have "found" their
mate after shuffling. I think it is more powerful to have spectators cut to three or four cards and
have a unique way of revealing up to four cards. There are so many easy ways to do so. He teaches
some really cool ways to reveal the cards, and there are many that are easily done, such as a false
cut, putting the pack behind the back and just pulling out the card, turn the deck over and flip the
card from the bottom as you pretend to cut to the middle (he teaches this one, and it is awesome!),
or any number of other ways. Also, due to the nature of the effect where you are pulling up the
pairs for any card they select, it lends itself to a lot of entertainment. I like to use a
match-maker theme to see if people have the "true love gene". I go around the table performing the
match to whatever card they cut to for each person, however, for one person, their match never comes
up. Magicians never want to have a "trick go wrong". However, people just want to be entertained.
It is a lot of fun to have everyone but one person's match come up. For this person, I end by doing
a simple force of the two of diamonds on them and I have a specially prepared two of hearts in an
envelope in my pocket. For example, prepare a gimmick as follows: Cut out a heart from any card and
glue is to a metal shim. Erase one of the hearts from a card using a stiff ink eraser. Place a
small flat magnet under the card and the shimmed heart on top of the card where the heart was
erased. When you take out the two of hearts, show it to them and "pull" the heart into your hand
using the magnet underneath as you hand them the card as a souvenir saying "Don't sweat it, you only
need to find one true love". I like to write an inspirational saying on the card and sign and date
it. This gives them a souvenir they will likely keep. You could put your website on the card if
you like. I tell them to use it as a bookmark. This is a great effect and I highly recommend it.
It is a great deck, but it dose not work every time. I got it a couple of days ago and watched the
dvd, even so i still scrwed up a couple times. I'm not trying to say that it is a bad deck, I love
it! The things he dose on the dvd are hard to learn but if you practice you will get it. Personally
I think that revealing the entire deck paired up at the end makes people realize how it is done. I
did it once to someone and they were fooled up untill the end when i reveled the paired up deck. So
I say get it.
Tomas was right in this regard ...this is one Diabolical deck of cards. Some of his routines on this
DVD are pretty good, but you dont need them. Get creative...I came up with 2 or 3 ways to get thru
this deck after only 1 day, it seems to go much better if you just make stuff up as you go...It is
also a great way to really do some very clean riffle shuffles and still have complete control over
this deck of cards...have some fun and add to cart a.s.a.p
