While it's admirable that the money is going to charity, that should have nothing to do with the
quality of the lecture. If they want to give the proceeds to charity, fine, that's their choice,
but that has nothing to do with the lecture. I have my own charity causes, and I purchased a
lecture, not someone else's charity. Nothing against his charity, but then sell it as a celebrity
interview for charity, not as part of what we expect from Penguin Lectures. This was more of a
celebrity interview than a magic lecture. He could have taken the time to figure out how lessons he
learned could be applied in a practical way to the audience of this lecture which is 99.9% amateur
or small time semi-pro magicians. I don't think this was particularly helpful to that audience.
Just my opinion.
WHO said it was going to be a lecture? are you also one of the ones that purchases without viewing the promo and then complain because you didnt get what you were expecting ,,usually if your familiar with penguin there's information of tricks you going to learn ,this was never mention in the INFORMATION of this download . For future lectures ,downloads any thing related to this types of events it would be wise to READ what your paying for to avoid complaining for paying for something that was never offer to begin with

His or her comment makes a good point regardless of semantics or specific terms.
That is did this Q and A offer "the secrets to success that no other lecture can offer" and also was the interview "unprecedented".
If this buyer thought not that is their opinion. You may disagree but the fact you insist this is only a convo really makes me rather just want to send a cheque to charity, but truefully Angel is far richer than me and therefore like the commenter says maybe there is a charity more closer to that persons needs.
It's not the case people don't want the best for someone's child and other's - it's about the content of the time and that should be what really draws people as well.
I wonder if Angel thought about making a great deck of cards and also donating money that way.

iramayami...Penguin said it was a lecture. The Penguin LIVE: All Access Pass states that, "This is a subscription product. After you subscribe you'll receive each new LECTURE as soon as it comes out and billed every month."
iramayami, follow your own advice. And while you're at it, stop trying to look like Mr.Know-it-all. It doesn't help anyone. It just makes you look like an angry jerk.
And iramayami, just fir the record, you really shouldn't be telling people what is and isn't "wise", when you don't know the difference between "your" and "you're" or "this" and "these".
There's also a giant difference between a question mark and two commas next to eachother. Lmao

Who knew a lecture from PENGUIN LIVE LECTURES wasn't going to be a lecture... especially coming from such a big name in magic. I guess everyone is an idiot except for you. Boy are we dumb to think he was going to teach us some magic.
But why defend him, he has shown his whole career he will do anything to make money. I'm sure his Charity's street address matches his own.
