The effect is very good, but the writing is so overcomplicated and long-winded that I actually fell asleep trying to read it.

Drew here. First off, thank you for taking a look at this - sincerely.

I find your comment somewhat confusing though because this manuscript isn't about any particular "effect" but rather two different playing card stacks.

Regarding the "overcomplicated and long-winded" writing all I can say is that I will always err on the side of comprehensive over sparse explanations. I am thorough because I want everyone to grasp the nuances of the systems.
