Absolute GARBAGE! I'll be reversing the charges on my credit card. Real magicians wouldn't scam other magicians with a cheap rubber band! Shameful!!!!

I think real magicians know that you're paying for the method and the secret, not "just" for the "gimmick".
Of course you can give feedback about the trick or secret not being worth its prize, but talking about material price for a magic trick is ridiculous.
