I've been doin' magic for many, many years this is easily my most regrettable purchase ever.Firstly
the introduction of the gimmick in performance is extremely awkward. The gimmick, as stated by many,
is quite noisy, and cumbersome. It seems to me, I'd be better off making a pull with a piece of
elastic clothesline and plastic pill bottle. I AIN"T KIDDIN' !! I can honestly say that I can't run
the risk of presenting this to my paid clientele for fear of of shattering my rep. I won't even
perform this for myself, by myself, in front of my mirror again. My mirror has ridiculed me for
weeks. Talk about overpriced!! The most expensive dust collector I've ever purchaced. Btw the only
reason I gave it 1 star is because they won't let you give a minus 1....DON"T BUY!!!...anybody want
a gecko, I'll pay YOU to take it....I'm pulling your leg, but not nearly as bad as
Rosenbaum...AGAIN, DON"T BUY!!!

Ok if you are goind to click on the ADD TO CART button, WAIT! There is no words to describe how bad
i feel about this thing. I really wanted to like it but i jut can't. The demo is misleading cuz it
is impossible to make anything vanish except for coin... And even with coins, it is risky.
THe DVD that comes with it doesnt make it better.. Even when rosenbaum itself shows you how to
work with its BAD gimmick, he flashes a few time..
Vanishe a beer bottle IRL with the
gecko? impossible...
If you are ready to spend that amount of money, go for the raven(wich i
have and is better than that) or The Kaylor Option(TKO) DO not put yourself in a situation where i
can say, Told ya,

I purchased this before reading the reviews...big mistake. It took me hours just to set up and start
working with it before I finally gave up. The only time I have seen it work effectively is from a
behind camera angle. I was too nervous to even try it on my family for fear of blowing it badly.

This is the worst trick I ever bought! I bought it, saw the DVD put it in the drawer and never
touched it again, the worst thing you can buy! So dont do it!

The demo for this gimmick looks like a dream but in reality it's actually just more false
advertising. The reviews here are correct. It's only good for making youtube videos that have some
blaring music to them. You'll never see this done live for a reason. If it was a godly new way of
vanishing an item that made no noise and was practical you would know by now because people would be
cheering it on. But there is no cheering it on. This was a good idea but poorly thought out.
Noise needs to be taken care of and I don't think anything can cover that god awful noise.

i regret this decision almost every day. the gimmick is loud, and very angle sensitive. buyer
beware: the are many better tricks out there for the price of this trick

This product is overall okay. It is not the best pull system out there, but it's not the worst.
There is not a single gimmick that can be used for everything. The gimmick is noisy, requires motion
to hide, and hard to conceal in various instances. It gets the job done, though. You can visually
vanish objects in front of your spectator's eyes. It can even be performed in short sleaves. That in
itself is amazing. Another problem is that it is hard to wear for a whole performance. This gimmick
get's in the way alot. you have to wear certain clothing to perform it. Most of the vanishes shown
in the demo video are not even suggested to be performed live. Unlike other pulls, this one takes
practice and skill to master. The results aren't completely worth it. Money can be spent in other
ways. It get's the job done, though. So that makes it a groundbbreaking technique with a very old
idea. I'd say, wait for a sale or the price to go down, then pick up this product

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A VIDEO OF ANYONE USING THE GECKO ON THE STREETS FOR REAL PEOPLE.
Even on
the Gecko DVD there is no footage of Andy using the Gecko on the streets; he performs for his
magician friend who stands there during the explanations. Andy has this look of shame during some
of the explanations as if he knows how bad the gimmick is...he doesn't even explain what all the
included materials are for...THIS DEVICE IS NOT PRACTICAL!
There is a forum out there for
Gecko users...Jim Rosenbaum declared the forum as the official forum for people who use the Gecko.
THE FORUM IS COMPLETELY DEAD EXCEPT FOR PEOPLE ASKING FOR HELP! Jim Rosenbaum or Andy Amyx do NOT
post there.
I didn't get this from Penguin, I got it on eBay for 40 bucks! A steal, but
the biggest waste of my money ever spent on magic. I don't know why Penguin carries this. Just buy
the Universal Pull from Vernet.
I have mastered the one-handed top palm and invisible pass,
and I use them on a daily basis. I have put in more practice time with the Gecko than my pass and
palm combined and I don't see how the Gecko can be used for anything other than making a Youtube
video with NO SOUND.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Sticky **** who were they fooling. They cant hand you an object from the front, they can only see it
from the side, and the dvd doesnt even say how to vanish a bottle or cellphone. Save some big bucks
for the black widow, or go for raven x2, but dont waste your hard earned money on this rubbish.

Truly waste of money... don't buy it, buy anything else but the gecko
