This DVD series is jam packed with closeup magic. Jay does an excellent job teaching each trick step-by-step. This material has all been release in his previous videos and books so there isn't anything really ground breaking here but his creativity really shows through. If you have his other videos you can still gain something from watching him perform in front of a live audience and from the new subtleties that he has developed for many of these effects.

The best item from DVD #3 would have to be Parallel Worlds. This is an incredible card effect that is also incredibly easy to do. It is definitely one of the stronger items in the series

but this a while back from sankey magic...this video series is amazing because you get to see jays work in front of a live audience. it isnt just about the magic, jays personality (while certainly uniqque and quirky) is effective in real world settings and useful to learn as magicians. while we might not all be as strange as Jay, it is the idea that magic is more than performing, it is connecting with your audience. As far as tricks go, this video series boasts a good variety of tricks that are easy to learn and useful in the real world. ADD to cart now!
