Only recently I learned that this book has fallen under some disdain to the actions of one its authors. I'll nothing more to that as it speaks for itself, HOWEVER, this book is still full of very useful information on scouting, inquiring, obtaining, and working gigs that support restaurant magicians. Despite whatever dubious association, it is still worth reading if you wish to gain helpful and direct incite toward garnering more strolling magic gigs.

Very concise and much more like a "handbook" than a "how to". Information is strong and easy to read. Published in 1994 but still very applicable today. Jim Pace is a great magician, in spite of his legal issues, so dont boycott this material. Remember: John 8:7

Not as much up-to-date info regarding restaurant work as their needs to be in the magic community. This book serves a real purpose and helps one gauge the opportunities for finding employment in restaurants. Lots of tips, tricks, and strategies for successfully navigating the restaurant circuit. I can't imagine that, though the book was copy written in 1996, the information would be outdated by now. I recommend it as one of the few, better written books on restaurant magic available.
