Q: What are free instructional videos?
A: When you purchase an effect at Penguin that has the "Free Instructional Video" icon, you'll get access to a special downloadable
instructional video. This video will teach you how to perform your new effect, step-by-step, so you can go out and start entertaining
as quickly as possible. Penguin Magic instructional videos feature professional magicians and include detailed explanations, multiple
camera angles, and special tips and tricks you won't find in the instructions.
Q: How can I access the instructional video for my new trick?
A: This is the simple part. Just click the large green "MyPenguinMagic" button at the top of the site. Next click the "Penguins Only" link at the
left of the screen. You'll be asked to log-in with your Penguin Magic username and password (If you don't already have a username,
you'll choose a username and password when you place your first order).
When you've logged in you'll see a link for the effect you just purchased. Click this link to access the instructional videos.
At this point you have four options: You'll find two links for Windows Media Player (one for high speed connections and one for dial-up
modems) and two links for Quicktime (one for high speed connection and one for dial-up modems).
In order to watch videos on PenguinMagic.com you'll need either Windows Media Player or Quicktime. The easiest way to determine if your
computer has Windows Media Player is to click one of the Windows Media links. If a video starts playing, you're all set. If you receive
an error message you may have the Quicktime media player instead.
Try clicking the Quicktime link. A new window will open. If Quicktime is installed the video will start loading and you'll see a play
button at the bottm of the window. Simply click the play button to watch the video.
"Media player" software is often already installed on your computer when you buy it. Computers that run Microsoft's Windows operating
system usually have Windows Media Player, and Apple computers usually have the Quicktime media player. If not already installed, you can
install media player software for free.
