Q: What happens when I purchase an "Instant Download"?
A: When you purchase an "Instant Download" you'll be given immediate
access to the
MyPenguinMagic
section of the site. Here you'll find an instructional
video that will teach you to perform your new effect. Downloading this video is just
as simple as watching one of our demo videos. You also get access a private discussion
section specific to your new effect. Here you'll be able to ask and answer
questions about the effect with other magicians who already know the secret and perform the
effect. This is an incredibly valuable learning tool.
Q: Will I have to build anything to perform my new downloadable
effect?
A: Sometimes you'll need to make a simple gimmick to achieve the effect,
other times the secret does all the work for you. If you need to make a gimmick it'll be
quick, easy, and ultra-cheap to make.
Q: How can I access the instructional video for my new trick?
A: This is the simple part. Just click the large green "MyPenguinMagic"
button at
the top of the site. You'll be asked to log-in with your Penguin Magic
username and password (If you don't already
have a username, you'll choose a username and password when you place your first
order).
When you've logged in you'll see a link for the "Instant Download" you
just
purchased. Click this link to access the instructional videos.
At this point you have four options: You'll find two links for Windows
Media Player (one for high speed connections and one for dial-up modems) and two links for
Quicktime (one for high speed connection and one for dial-up modems).
In order to watch videos on PenguinMagic.com you'll need either Windows
Media Player or Quicktime. The easiest way to determine if your computer has Windows
Media Player is to click one of the Windows Media links. If a video starts playing, you're
all set. If you receive an error message you may have the Quicktime media player instead.
Try clicking the Quicktime link. A new window will open. If Quicktime is
installed the video will start loading and you'll see a play button at the
bottm of the window. Simply click the play button to watch the video.
"Media player" software is often already installed on your computer when
you buy it. Computers that run Microsoft's Windows operating system
usually have Windows Media Player, and Apple computers usually have the
Quicktime media player. If not already installed, you can install media
player software for free.
