This is an awesome effect. There is no force on the card they pick. It is a completely free choice.
I also love this because you can carry it around with you everywhere. Once you are set up once, you
are set-up forever, as the reset is just putting the card back in your wallet. Very Small price for
one of my favorite effects ever.
Pros:
-Instant reset
-Seems impossible
-Very easy, takes little time to get good at it
-You can carry it with you everywhere you
go
-You can use this wallet as your everyday wallet.
-No gimmicks
-Wallet is ungaffed
-Can be used as an "out" if you mess up another card trick.
-No sleight of hand; you
clearly and plainly take only one card out.
-Good Price
-No palming
-Includes an
extra routine called "Truly Invisible"
-Wallet is not "stuffed" with cards; it is thin.
Cons:
-Wallet cannot be examined, but people probably won't ask to
-Wallet needs to be
specific kind, but most should work
-You need a wallet
-Possibility of figuring it out
(very small possibility, though)
-Booklet is staplebound

I have been into magic for over 10 years now and I discovered this effect a year and a half ago. If
I had to pick one trick to do to someone, this would be it. Not only do i ALWAYS have it on me, the
reactions are amazing. This is basically the invisible deck... without a deck

This effectively trick rocks well in any place at any time
It so cool that if you got the
workings for on the mark use use wallet .. but if you got the right magicans mind in minutes new
effects will
pop out ( like and book test) it sounds easy and I tell you it is!
Anyone who does mentalism with cards needs to be familiar with this. It really is a classic. Easy
to do, very quick and direct, and it can get great reactions.
The downsides: you can't show
the wallet empty; the trick does take up some wallet space; once in a while, an overly skeptical
spectator will see right through the "out" that usually ends the effect. Even so, this is something
you really ought to be using at least once in a while, because it's just so easy to get a big
reaction.
There are also quite a few updates and variations to this effect that are worth
knowing about. John Archer does a great version of this... very fun to watch, but he's probably the
only one who could pull it off. Bang On is a similar effect, except you're always 100% correct.
But honestly, it's so much more cumbersome, it doesn't seem worth it. Heirloom is the same effect
that adds a backstory to stretch this out into more of a performance routine. Pocket Space is
similar in idea, but different in execution, while taking up less wallet space and always giving you
a direct hit.
As you can see, this effect has inspired many others... but this is the
effect that started it all, and for that reason alone, it's definitely worth having.
Kolossal Killer is an incredible effect. It is so simple yet so effective, You ask a spectator to
think of any card they want (no force). You pull out your wallet and reach inside and pull out the
exact card they are thinking of.
Because of how it works, you might get the card wrong but
there is a built in fail-safe in which even if you get the card wrong, you are still right! Once you
get the trick you will know what I mean.
The only downside if that if your wallet is
already filled with debit/credit cards, IDs, gift cards, etc, then it kinda stinks to have to add
more cards, but if you don't mind having some extras then this is an amazing trick. I used this one
a lot when I first started out and it's always gotten me great reactions.
Kolossal Killer is a concept by Kenton Knepper that allows you to perform amazing mentalism at a
moments notice. Using his concept, you wallet becomes an invisible deck. The spectator can name
any card (almost) and within a second or two, pull that card from your wallet. A special wallet can
be purchased to facilitate this effect but most wallets will work.
Like all mentalism, this
is 4 parts presentation and 1 part secret. With a good presentation this effect will freak em out.
The booklet provides a lot of detail on the concept and provides several routine ideas. More
routine ideas can be purchased. If you like Kenton Knepper you probably already have this. If you
don't know who Kenton is, you're in for a real treat. This will be the one trick you walk around
with at all times!
THIS TRICK IS BEYOND WHAT YOU EXPECT.
I recently got in to mentalism, and say a trick called
BANG ON. Which also does almost the same effect but the card is in a envelope. That trick was
$100+..
so i decided to look for other similar effects and found this Kolossal Killer.
ITS
REALLY A KILLER!!! The nature of this trick is that you wont always get the right card, but because
when you don't get the "right" card there is a twist in the effect that will bring the trick to a
even stronger level that will totally FRY your spectator.
1)This trick can be done
surrounded
2)It is a NO FORCE trick.NO DECKS,PAPER OR WRITING REQUIRED!
3)Its a trick that
your spectator will always remember.
4)Do it anywhere and anytime.
Overall:10/10
For this price, this might be the best trick you can get for card mentalism in magic...
