Stephen's thinking on this is good (taking an old principle and applying it to a different concept of the spectator doing the work) but this could have been a 20 minute video! And, t seems to me that this trick should be performed standing, to psychologically "cover" the fact that your hand is in your pocket - sitting down it just looks unnatural. Finally, production quality is less than attractive - looks like he just got up (in his t-shirt and cargo pants), ran downstairs to the basement and shot the video. If you can get past that, the video will teach you about a concept that every magician and mentalist should know.

One of the worst mentalism effects I have purchased, taking "classic" methods and applying them under the guise of the "spectator having all the control" - the standard Magicians Choice would be easier for pocket management! A good learning tool (so, one star) but not a good trick. I bought this because of the implication that the spectator did everything/had all the control, but if I knew how it worked I would've saved my money. Save yours.

This is one of the best mental effects I've ever seen! It will go into my closeup shows from now on. And it is priced at less than ten dollars!

It requires a very simple sleight that every mentalism may do quite comfortably .. though if you use a transparent change bag, you could eliminate the sleight. (You'll understand how once you watch the explanation).

The only slightly negative thing I feel is the explanation that goes on for about 51 minutes; it could have taken 15-20
minutes tops. But even here it is through no fault of the man who created this trick; he is doing his best to explain as fully as he can to make sure everyone will understand it all. This is a virtue for newer mentalists. It only works the other way for seasoned performers, who will "get it" in about ten minutes or less.

But please don't let this point deter you from buying it ... it is a superb effect!!!
