This trick is pretty good but it is hard to pull off. You have to have your angles perfectly for
this trick and that takes a little practice but other than that this is a pretty cool effect!

I have probably 50 coin tricks. And I have to say this is the worst. The angles are bad, it breaks
easily, and you can only show one side of the coin.

After a few minutes of practice you can start performing this great effect. I gave it only 4 stars
as opposed to 5 due to some minor angle issues. Otherwise, this effect is great. Get it now.

it's a very good effect, but only for a bar magician.... you may want to check out punctured by alex
linian for a non mechanical pen version

Well, these certainly aren't new to magic, but they still wow 'em. This coin is well made, and
well-priced- my only complaint is the cigarette- most places are non-smoking these days, and I
perform alot at children's hospitals and the like, where it is inappropriate. I usually use a pen, a
little searching and you can find one the right diameter.
The angle issue is really not
that bad- how else could the effect be accomplished? If you feel that your technique needs work, or
you're having trouble "selling" this trick, try Modern Coin Magic by JB Bobo- some of the effects
are dated, but it's great for learning misdirection and advanced sleight of hand techniques! All in
all, I think every magician should have this coin in their repertoire.

Actually bought this item nearly 10 yrs ago. Tried many different variations made by different
manufacturers. Both one & two sided, spring powered & rubber band. So far, this one is proven BEST!
This one requires some slight of hand, but I'd recommend it. The reactions are ridiculous when you
take the rolled up dollar or cigarette and shove it THROUGH the quarter. Add it to your cart if
you're an aspiring coin magician.
This is pretty easy to handle. The switch, or course and the angles are the most important things.
Just didn't like that you can only show one side, but what are you gonna do...great effect!!
I perform it all the time. it is angle sensitive but easy with practice. I have done it completly
surrounded and everyone was amazed. Buy this trick, but only if you are willing to practice.
For the one guy who said this is too much money, you're lucky you bought it from here. I bought it
for $40 at a close-by trick shop and thought it was definately worth that, so take some time to
appreciate the money you have saved.
