Magic Tricks

Got this set to see the rope work, since I employ a lot of rope routines in my own shows and always enjoy seeing how others present rope routines. Phil is an excellent performer, with humor and self confidence of a seasoned performer. There is a lot of great tips and as another reviewer has said some of the explanations are not given but rather the source of the trick is given so you can find it there. I picked up some great handling tips and liked his Zanzibar handling, the SOB Knot and even his pocket knives routine was a pleasant surprise. Why didnt I think of that! Very entertaining and informative especially for street performers and comedy entertainers. Wont be to everyones taste but I got a lot of good ideas and material for new shows. Thanks for the laughs Phil. or should say "El Ropo". Plus he has a theme song!

First DVD deals with ropes and the 2nd one deals with card, coins, cups and balls, pocket knives and thimbles. A very diverse set of magic effects, so you should find something you can use. Personally liked the 1st DVD best, but the 2nd one will probably suit most magicians more due to the coin and card routines. Get the set!
