I've been doing this since it first came out. Mr Bannon has genius for simplifying methods without
diluting the effect and this is a perfect example.
It uses any full deck and a couple of
business cards or pieces of paper on which to write your two predictions.
I suggest
letting the spectator win the first round, and because they have won they get to choose with whom to
play round 2 (it can be you or anyone else at the table).
A few years ago I was in Russell
Hall's magic who in Sheffield and there were a couple of young magicians aged about twelve or
thirteen doing pretty advanced slights and moves. I did this for them. They absolutely burned my
hands the whole time watching for moves (there aren't any to spot). Stunned when they read the first
prediction. I let them play round 2 with each other and they were even more amazed.
This is
not part of my repertoire for formal shows. I use it informally when not in a rush. It is for when
you and a few people are casually sitting around a table.
I recommend this routine very
highly.
