Rudy Hunter gives a simple, mechanical method for controlling a card. It's great. If you do it as shown in the video, yes, spectators may see the gaffe. However, with a little fine-tuning, I was able to make mine all but invisible with no loss in efficacy. Sure beats a pinky-break.
