I'm a Stebbins obsessive and even though the first lesson was, by necessity, going over old ground I
felt that Dan taught brilliantly and covered a couple of things I hadn't come across before. I've
just finished the second lesson and his work on calculating a card position is simiplicity itself
and not something I've come across. The shuffles had some interesting touches but the effects - and
we all want effects, don't we? - were more than I could have hoped for. There was aspects I already
knew or was familiar with but the presentational angles are what really got me enthused. The
blindfold routine especially and the lie detector are standouts but I can easily see me using the
other effects often. This is only halfway through the course and I'm already delighted. Can't wait
until next week!
