Even with the heavily edited performance. it is INCREDIBLY obvious how this is done. You can't show the other pieces of the card, and for some reason the index and pip (which are ALWAYS on a corner of the card) are in the middle side of the card and not a corner, no where near where they would be in a normal card.

This doesn't pass an initial thought process of 'how did they do that?'.

The first thing a spectator thinks is the actual way this was done.
