I wanted a wallet that I could use every day and I love Jim Steinmeyer so I figured this would be
great. It had a 5-star review, and it was only like $11 in the coolbox, so I jumped without
thinking.
What a mistake. This is awful. Way too many of the secret move for such a large
item to not arouse major suspicion. Even if that were to fly past the spectator, they would assume
that the wallet uses flaps of some other similar moveable parts. It doesn't, but the wallet isn't
inspectable, and the fast that a cutout section is the only part that changes certainly makes it
feel like it does, so there is no way any spectator will walk away impressed.
I will say,
the build quality is pretty good. It could last thousands of performances, but hopefully, it will
never last one performance, as magic-wise, this is terrible.
Highly recommended for someone
who desperately needs a wallet that only holds one bill and one card. Not recommended for anyone
else.
I wouldnāt sweat it. This isnāt meant to be a miracle and I wouldnāt even consider it a stand-alone effect. IF I owned one, I would just use as a humorous segue to another routine. Example:
āHereās a fun thing with a $20 billā¦OH no this wallet is my biz cards, maybe my black oneā¦No, thatās receipts. maybe the Red?ā¦No thatās loose change. AHHH GREENā¦Green means CASH!ā¦There it isā¦ā
Then launch into a routine with the Bill.
Maybe I SHOULD buy oneā¦sounds pretty fun! š
