When you can get a WOW gimmick for 10 bucks, it's nuts to pay $80 for that same case, poorly fitted
into a minimalist case. Due to the poor fit the handling becomes more difficult and clunky, and
sometimes the reveal is unsteady or incomplete. Perhaps I just got a bad unit, but caveat emptor on
this one.
I got mine in a $100 "mystery box," so I don't actually have any idea what I paid for it, but I don't buy knockoffs of marketed effects that I can easily afford, and don't appreciate the suggestion.
BUT you've completely missed the point, which is that, at least with my case, it's ill-fitting and makes the "move," difficult and unreliable, which can result in a ghostly image or nothing at all appearing - or worse, something appearing at an inopportune time. Either way, the effect is ruined. It's a legitimate gripe. Masuda needs to pay more attention to QC, and I think buyers should know.
