I’m gonna start right off and say I’m a huge fan of Dani’s work and his philosophy. But for those
who aren’t - this is marvelous!
It’s really not about the tricks - this is rather a
masterclass in audience management and psychology. There is of course only one Dani DaOrtiz, but
whatever your performance style, you will learn - or revisit- principles and subtleties that you can
adapt to your own style of card magic.
The chapters/“tricks” are presented in the company
of several participants. This is of course typical of Dani’s style of magic. But the principles and
techniques taught can be used in any setting. You will learn (at least) one force per chapter.
Note: I would say you need a basic/medium knowledge of certain (non-difficult and basic)
sleights, concepts and principles in card magic. If you need detailed and thorough teaching of such
sleights/concepts, they are of course easy to find.
All in all - well worth the price, if
not just for the joy of watching Dani perform for his friends in beautiful Spain!
