When I got this DVD, I was expecting it to be like a basic instructional on coin Magic. I was pretty
wrong. I wasn't the most experienced and had a very hard time at first.
Like most of my
reviews, this is where I talk about the material on it. Jay put together a very full visual guide of
ORIGINAL coin magic. That's essentially what it is. It seems like he just wanted to get his thoughts
down. But some of the segments to tricks are really short, some are pretty extensive. The most
important thing to keep in mind though, is that this is hard stuff. THere is a lot of backpalming
and pinching, even some classic palms. But it's very solid working material you will use!
Over all, I would suggest this if you want to learn more coin magic, not techniques. There are a
few techniques taught, but not a lot. You should start with Sleight of Hand Secrets With Coins or
Bobo's Modern Coin Magic.
not beginner's stuff!
