What kind of review can I give a brass ring.... Seeing as how I've been doing this for quite a long
time, I've bought, borrowed, seen, almost every type available for some of the most unsuspecting
places.
Is this a flawless piece of brass. No, of course not. But it's smooth, clean with
no cracks and scratches. It is nice. I prefer brass as it's always my option to plate an item with
ANY type plating I want. As brass, it can be polished to quite a luster almost chrome like without
the mirror'd reflection of light catching the edge.
What didn't I like? Just the price. But
I needed it and didn't have time (or want to take the time) to go where items like this are common
and cost a lot less... This isn't a reflection on Penguin at all, fact is I wouldn't have got it at
any other magic shop cause it would have cost more & would have taken MUCH longer to get to my door.
The size is actually a standard. I'm waiting for the day when someone goes to a foundry and
has a true thick ring made up. Maybe same diameter but double the thickness, now that's the
territory where we are getting something special.
