This is truly a great set. The tricks are great and the teaching is even better
1st disk
The Intuition Speller - this is one of my many favorites from this set, it absolutely
stuns. it can be performed impromptu and with a borrowed deck. The spectator shuffles the cards and
then hands them to you, then without any false moves the magician proceeds to spell to a card in the
deck. (One Card for each letter)
Kismet - I personally didnt really like this trick, its a
very long process for something that isnt that startling. The magician finds the selected card, then
the spectator finds the magicians card basically,
My Card, Your Card, Everybodys Card -
Again, this wasnt for me but it did give me new info on the top change, which was very good. A joker
changes one by one into the selected cards. The slights and colour changes taught are really goodon
this one
The Amazing Discovery - This is a multiple location effect, some new and good
ideas, controls and revelations, which are pretty cool.
2nd Disk
Brainwave My Way
- This really kills. The magician explains that he took a card from the deck and put it in his
wallet which he shows. The spectator then names any card, but it is in the deck so the assumption is
made that something went wrong. The cards are then spread out face down to show that there is one
odd-backed card in the back, which happens to be the spectators named card. The magician goes into
his wallet to show that the card he placed there at the start was the thought of card as well.
Pandoras Paradox - Another great impossible effect. A selected card is shown to be folded inside
of a box that was put on the table before the trick began.
Vincents Aces - A awesome
impromptu Ace routine which i wont go into as it is very long but it start with an incredible
production and ends with the classic Fabulous For Ace routine.
There are a few bonus
routines that dont play as big, some using the Aronson stack. But improved versions of these tricks
are in the later 2 series, which are impromptu, while these aren't.
Disk 3
Not
really tricks taught here but more tips on different aspects of card magic to help you improve your
technique.
One routine is taught called Prologue to Triumph which is alright. But the
slights taught notably the one hand bottom deal lead so many have and have so many applications,
which are shown in later series.
Overall i would highly recommend this set, if you are a
fan of Micheal Vincent it is great if not go and search him up on you tube and you will see how good
he is. I reckon nearly everyone of his tricks on you tube are explained in some way on this set.
The overall idea of this set amazingly is only and introduction for the next series! You
cannot get the next series without previously watching this one.
Thanks Micheal keep up the good
work!
