Ryan Lowe has taken an old and simple principle and revolutionized it in an ingenious way. The
end-result is one of the best visual vanishes that I've come across (I've been doing magic for about
five years now). Combine the beautiful visual effect with it's practical method (and a cheap price
to boot!!), and you've got one of the best vanishes---as well as product---on the market right now.
Having said that, every trick has some kind of drawback---with 'Gone,' I would only say that it can
be difficult to work into a long-running routine and is easiest to do as a Stand-Alone effect. I
would stop short of saying that it is impromptu---but with enough practice and handling, you can
incorporate it into a long-running routine and adapt it to the ever-changing dynamics of public
performance. The drawback/benefit ratio for this effect is definitely to your advantage. It has my
highest recommendation. Good job, Ryan!!
