First of all, the is a very cool wallet even just as a regular wallet! As a switch wallet, it is something that you will have to play around and practice with. My own complaint is that it would have been so easy to have made it a peek wallet as well as a switching wallet. My routine is, I first have them close their eyes and imagine a blank screen and let whatever image comes to their mind appear on that screen, let me know when they have something, but don't tell me what it is, etc. Then I pull out my wallet and take out a business card and put it face down on the table and ask them if they would be amazed if the picture they were imagining was on the back of the business card. It is only a gag to introduce the effect of course. "Well draw it on there then", I say. If you deliver the line right, it should get a laugh or at least a smile. Then I have them draw their picture (so they can't change their mind) and then put the card face down on the table (the fact that I had already put the card face down on the table in the same spot and manner in which I want them to during the gag intro serves as a nonverbal suggestion). I ask them to confirm that they have put the card face down on the table so that I can turn around (this ensures that they do actually put it on the table rather than hold on to it which would make the trick impossible). I casually slide it under my wallet "so I can't see anything". THIS is why I LOVE this wallet...because I don't have to pick the card up (I just slide it about an inch on the surface of the table) and I don't put it IN the wallet (just under it). Then (the switch is already done but I don't know what they drew yet) I ask them to concentrate on that image in their mind and send it to me. I act like I'm trying to receive an impression and then like I'm starting to get something. I pick up the wallet to take out another card to draw on and put the wallet back on top of "their card" (actually a dummy...I've just peeked at their actual card) and then concentrate as I duplicate their drawing and then put my duplicate drawing face down on the table. I ask them again if they would be impressed if that matched the picture they were imagining (they have already said "yes" during the gag intro.) I tell them to turn it over and as they do I put my wallet back in my pocket. I could pull their drawing out if I wanted to but why would I? They've just seen a miracle and they have a souvenir and my business card. You really can't beat it.
