Magic Tricks

I bought this thinking that I was going to be killing it with an awesome visual effect. However, the gimmick is in plain sight (And I don't mean a good in plain sight... the moving part is exactly what the audience will be staring at). I practiced for days, and watching myself in the mirror I thought that the only reason it was so obvious to me was because I knew how it was done. I started to perform it, under various conditions, and NOBODY was impressed. Everybody

This illusion does NOT work like shown in the trailer. I've since ditched it and let it sit on my desk for the past two years.
