For the price of this effect, you would expect to be ready to go out of the box. You aren't. You
receive an antique-looking brass alarm clock (that works), along with the remote mentioned in the
product description. What you don't receive and do need are three special batteries. They mention in
the video you can get it at your supermarket, but I couldn't find it there. It's available online at
Amazon.com and the like, but add that to your wait time.
The other thing missing--and
inexcusably so--is any kind of routine for the clock. You are shown two card effects in the demo
video, but nothing is ever explained or even shown in any detail. You are basically given the
expensive prop, a few instructions on how to make it work, and that's all. I realize this is great
for those with limitless creativity out to craft your own routine, but for the price of this prop
they should have at least included one routine to get you started.
