One tip: do not float the bulb to long, it's better to keep this sort and sweet.
when it starts floating, react surprised like your audience, let the bulb rise into your hand above it, blow the light out and put in your pocket. This way it's over before they know it, it's all happening in a couple of seconds.

To me this is a perfect effect to start a performance.
