First of all, I'm a huge Mark Mason fan and love "Come Fly With Me", "Orient Express", and
"Tri-Ception". All of those coin effects are great with good routines and lots of potential.
Unfortunately, Miracle Chip was a huge disappointment to me. The price is really out of line for
what you get here. While the other effects I've mentioned are nice, long routines that truly
entertain (and in the case of "Orient Express" actually instantly reset themselves), this is a
"prop" at best, and really only good for a few extremely quick effects...and none repeatable for the
same spectator since they all are basically the same effect. Yes, Mark gives you nine different
versions of the effect, and some are good and visual, but most are just fast little effects you
could easily replicate with a Scotch-and-Soda set for a fourth of the price of this.
Without giving anything away, the half dollar gimmick part of the coin has a very visual white
band around the bottom of it. With the coin moving a lot you might not be in trouble so much, but
it's definitely not something you could leave sitting on your close-up pad as someone walked up. All
in all, very overpriced and not at all characteristic of Mark's other great coin products.
