Its been a month now since my first review and I have been working on this for six weeks. I finely
got my first good coin last night and after many try's and molds (use silicone) this one looked
great, it felt and looked real (I used a quarter). But alas it was not to be this try, as I was
cleaning up the mold pip I snapped it in half, I almost cried. Close to $100.00 in supplies and over
20 hours in research and many tries and retries (not including waiting for the delivery of supplies
and set times). But I finally have a good mold and will make another coin today (be careful the coin
is brittle). I did a test with the two halves and starting with the coin at room temp it took four
minutes to melt in my hand. I upped it to three stars this time as I know the dedication, time and
money it takes will have me one of just a few who do this and this will be the one they remember, I
will use this in my coins around the world routine and pick this coin out of 100 assorted coins but
if you get the mold right and be patient it looks and feels real (I did a double side mold). If you
want to do something no one else dose buy this idea (it is only the idea) but only if you want to
put a lot of effort in to it.
