When I first received Porthole I was surprised by the heft of the DVD. As soon as I opened it I was
amazed by the treasure trove of goodies inside. Mr. Vanamburg certainly has won me over with the
quantity and quality of accessories he included with this effect. This was definitely not one of
those "gotta pay the mortgage so I better crank out some bit of theoretical fluff" tricks that many
other magicians are so apt to do, along with their patent 6 minute DVDs shot with a cell phone
camera. Mr. Vanamburg has put a great deal of thought into this and it shows. Likely any experienced
magician who watches the trailer can decipher the method, BUT you will not be able to recreate all
that has gone into making this particular effect a real worker. This is worth purchasing, not only
to support Mr. Vanamburg in future endeavours but to avail yourself of the ingenious accoutrements
that accompany this wonderful magic effect. I thought long and hard before I ordered this, and as
too rarely happens.....I'm very glad I did
