While the ITR is a wonderful alternative to the myriad of electronic devices that are available, I'm
dismayed by the creator James George's ability to operate it. Watching him operate the ITR on the
instructional DVD is painful as he looks very awkward using it. The quality of the DVD is quite poor
as well a she has no camera man. The instruction is quite thorough, just poorly produced. Also the
thread is just rolled into the wax ball which to anyone who spends much time with one knows...is
insufficient. The thread needs to go around something more substantial like a match, otherwise when
sufficient tension is placed on the line and the wax is warm...the line will simply pull free from
the wax giving you the impression that it broke. This is clearly something the creator should know
and have remedied by now. Also for the price these things ought to come with some replacement parts
