The main reason I bought this, and the only reason I rate this 2 stars instead of 1, was for the
presentation ideas. They got me thinking, but they are so skeletal that they really aren't that
helpful. I am still not sure how an act like this can be entertaining. I'm sure it can, I just am
not seeing it yet.
My main problem is the vast majority of the 15 short pages are spent on
mnemonics/memory techniques just to remember how to recite the alphabet in reverse order. Seems like
a lot of effort for something that isn't that hard to do and can be done after ten minutes of
practice without any memory aid.
I guess I misunderstood what "backwards" was referring to. I
thought it meant actually writing each letter backwards and not just writing the alphabet in reverse
from z to a. So I didn't find any tips for that.
I could say that the cost wasn't that high and
try to justify some element of value here because of the low price, but even at $5 the value is
sparse.
A final note, the mnemonics and this booklet would be of value to someone that wants to
teach someone else how to do this. If that is the case for you, this may be of more value than it
was to me.
Wow, that was a bad review. You just rated this bad because of your reading and understanding mistake. I just face palmed myself. And I know for sure you haven't performed this(writing the alphabet in reverse and saying it forward for any real people, your dog/pet doesn't count. Because i have performed it a couple of times and the spectators were very impressed and a good conversation about the display of skill followed. You might as well have said, you hate the download because you thought it came with the a magician to actually perform it for you, lol.
You clearly haven't learned how to read, troll. In the second paragraph I said my main problem was that of the 15 pages the majority is spent discussing mnemonics for something that doesn't need them.
This is just about writing backwards. I'm right handed and I find if I write with my left hand without thinking I can both print and do cursive writing backwards (a la Leonardo's code). Since my left hand is my off hand it's a little "scrawly" because the fine muscle control is weaker, but try it. If it helps, do it with your eyes closed. Try your signature backwards and look in the mirror.
