There are serious angles problems. In this video everything is hiding from the cameras view but not
where dan is sitting watching Jonathan doing the trick. Dan can see everything exposed in this
trick. Now to me that is a little misleading when he is saying wow this is fantastic when he can see
the trick exposed. The trick is very good and visual but ditching this big gimmick is very bold move
and looks suspicious. I noticed in the video he does it very quickly but the angle is perfect from
cameras view doing this. You must have some very good misdirection getting rid of this gimmick that
is why i gave it 4 stars.
Jeff,
Thanks for you review!
I appreciate your comments about the ditch and the necessity to be aware of your angles. Yes, this is true. I do want to point out that when we were shooting the video with Dan, he did not see the ditch. I have found that I can work around the angles quite easily. It's just a matter of being aware of your body position. And I have performed this effect, while standing in an essentially 3/4 round environment. It is about sight lines, misdirection and staging. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly (you can get in touch with me through my website: www.jonathanlevit.com). Thanks!
Jonathan
